The Concert Choir is the second level chorus of the organization. Music for this group is more challenging and rehearsals are more intense. Emphasis is placed on music reading and theory, as well as vocal training at a more advanced level.

Chamber Choir

The Chamber Choir is the third and highest level of the chorus. These singers have established good vocal technique, are excellent sight readers, and are willing to make a strong commitment to the BNYC. This group is committed to touring, recording and performing for special concerts and events. Music for this choir is more sophisticated and challenging, therefore rehearsals are more demanding. Strong emphasis is placed on music reading and theory, as well as vocal training at a more advanced level.
Pop, Broadway, & Jazz Ensemble

SATB - Primarily an ensemble for high school students with prior choral experience, this ensemble focuses on various musical styles and repertoire. This group will perform at the winter and spring concerts, with possibilities for additional performances at outside venues throughout the season.
